 Did you know that Van Conner, the bassist and co-founder of the alternative rock band Screaming Trees, passed away on January 17th, 2022, at the age of 55? Conner founded Screaming Trees in 1984 with his brother Gary Lee Conner, Mark Lanegan, and Mark Pickerel, and Barrett Martin later replaced Pickerel in 1991. The band released eight studio

albums, including Buzz Factory, Sweet Oblivion, and Uncle Anesthesia, and their notable songs included "Nearly Lost You," "All I Know," and "Clairvoyance." After several hiatuses, Screaming Trees released their final album, Last Words: The Final Recordings, in 2011 and went on to pursue solo careers.
