Burt Young, born in Queens and once a boxer, transformed into a scene-stealing actor whose legacy will endure through his captivating performances

. His ability to infuse depth and complexity into tough-guy roles set him apart. Most notably, Young’s portrayal of Paulie in the 1976 Best Picture winner “Rocky” earned him an Oscar nomination. His exceptional talent continued to shine in the original film and its sequels, making him one of only four actors to appear in all six Rocky movies.
