In loving memory of our beloved Kenny DeForest, born on December 27, 1985, in Springfield, Missouri, we honor a life that was filled with laughter, warmth, and an incredible talent that touched countless hearts. Kenny's journey was one of passion, determination, and a relentless pursuit of his dreams.
As a cherished member of our family, Kenny leaves behind a void that can never be filled. Yet, the 37 years he spent with us were filled with joy, love, and an infectious spirit that continues to inspire us. We mourn the loss of a beloved son, brother, and friend who was taken from us far too soon.
Growing up in Missouri, Kenny's love for comedy blossomed

alongside his passion for basketball. From his early days at Kickapoo High School to his time at Drury University, he brought his unique blend of humor and dedication to every aspect of his life. It was clear from the start that Kenny was destined for greatness.

His bold decision to venture from his hometown to the bustling streets of New York City was a testament to his unwavering commitment to his craft. As he navigated the unforgiving world of stand-up comedy, Kenny's warmth and charisma never failed to shine through.
It came as no surprise when Kenny's talent gained recognition, earning him appearances on renowned late-night shows, such as Late Night with Seth Meyers and The Late Late Show with James Corden. His effortless ability to leave audiences in stitches was a gift that brought joy to millions.
Kenny's untimely passing following an e-bike accident in Brooklyn on December 13, 2022, has left us heartbroken. Yet, even in the face of this devastating loss, we take comfort in the knowledge that Kenny's spirit will live on through the countless memories he leaves behind and the lives he touched.
As we say our final farewell to Kenny, let us remember the laughter he brought into our lives and the warmth that filled every room he entered. We honor a life that was taken too soon but will never be forgotten. Rest in peace, dear Kenny. You may be gone, but your love, laughter, and legacy will live on forever in our hearts.
